Yusuf is a native of Vancouver who first obtained his Bachelor of Life Science from the University of British Columbia then went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy from University of Toronto. In Toronto, he had a variety of experiences in inpatient and outpatient departments in several major teaching hospitals in Toronto including Toronto Rehabilitation/Toronto General hospital.
After graduating, Yusuf returned home to Vancouver where he has worked in a variety of hospital, long term care and private practice MSK settings. Yusuf is dedicated to post graduate training and is currently a Level 3 manual therapist trained with the Fellow of Canadian Manipulative therapist, Vestibular Rehabilitation training and is certified in dry needling through Acupuncture Canada.
Yusuf's treatment plan includes detailed assessment to devise an individualized treatment plan including manual therapy(joint adjustments/active release technique), dry needling, electrophysical modalities, exercise prescription. In addition, Yusuf offers fall prevention and seated tai chi classes.
Yusuf in his spare time enjoys basketball, hiking, and weight-lifting.
Arneil first completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of British Columbia in 2001 and then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2003. He has a wealth of experience in a number of clinical areas from having worked in various public and private health care settings as an OT.
He started his career in Sarnia, Ontario on a mixed caseload of inpatient acute psychiatry and surgical wards. In 2005, Arneil had the opportunity to work overseas for a year as an OT on a community mental health team in Auckland, New Zealand.
Arneil has remained in his home city of Vancouver, BC since 2006 where he has held a position at Burnaby Hospital. Currently, Arneil also does some private work in a long term care facility in Vancouver and does casual hours at a few acute care hospital sites in the lower mainland. He has worked in all areas of acute care physical medicine and has comprehensive occupational therapy knowledge and skills to serve the general population. Arneil has worked in the private sector with ICBC / Worksafe BC clients and in pediatrics. He has also spent half a year working at the Fraser Health Acquired Brain Injury Services (ABIS) concussion clinic.
Arneil believes in using his knowledge and background in occupational therapy to help enable his clients to achieve optimal independence. He works towards helping his clients achieve their personal goals to improve their function in all aspects of everyday life. Arneil has a passion for learning and incorporates best practice principals while assessing and treating his clients. He is committed to displaying his leadership abilities and has been involved in numerous projects at the hospital to advocate for occupational therapy services. Arneil enjoys teaching and routinely takes on university OT students for their clinical fieldwork placements.
Arneil is an active person and enjoys spending much of his free time in the outdoors of his home province of BC. He enjoys hiking, rock climbing, running and skiing. He also plays in a competitive men’s basketball league and has a dedicated yoga practice to help with restoration and balance for his active lifestyle.
Samuel became interested in physiotherapy and rehabilitation through overcoming numerous injuries playing competitive volleyball, basketball and rugby. This led him to complete his Bachelors in Kinesiology, specializing in Ergonomics, from the University of Waterloo, and his Masters of Physiotherapy from McMaster University. His post-graduate work includes obtaining the Level One Diploma from the Orthopedic Division and completion of Modern Dry Needling Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS 1).
Samuel provides high-quality, client-centered care to foster a comfortable environment. He employs an evidence-based analytical approach to identify and address the root cause of an issue. He utilizes a combination of treatment techniques including Manual Therapy, Soft Tissue/Trigger Point Techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques, Ergonomic Analysis, Postural Training, Return to Work Training, Rehabilitation/Exercise Prescription, TMJ Treatment, Dry Needling/Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and Radial Shockwave Therapy. Samuel is passionate about guiding his clients through their recovery to achieve their goals.

Carina was born and raised in Vancouver. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of British Columbia in 2017. Carina then went to complete her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. Carina gained a variety of skills and experiences in acute care and outpatient programs working with clients of all ages.
After completing her degree and placements in Alberta, Carina returned to B.C. and began working as an Occupational Therapist in acute care and long term care. Carina is excited to learn, grow, and continue to expand her practice as an OT.
Carina enjoys indoor rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with her loved ones.
John completed his Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Program at the University of British Columbia. He has strong commitment to the occupational therapy profession and has demonstrated competency in assessing client’s occupational performance, planning and implementing goal directed services, and enabling clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. He strives to develop strong clinical reasoning skills of successfully analyzing situations, problem solving and facilitating resolutions.
John had been working in developing and implementing mental health promotion programs to individuals, community groups, and organizations for over 5 years before he moved to Canada. When he was in China, he obtained bachelor’s degree in physics, master’s degree in cognitive psychology, and PhD in organizational behavior. Since his arrival in Canada, he completed his high school diploma, finished the rehabilitation assistant (RA) program, worked as an RA while taking the MOT program and looking after his family and young children. Pursuing a career as an occupational therapist is his dream to help individuals live healthier and more fulfilling live.
John enjoys playing tennis, swimming, skating, and playing guitar, especially with his friends and family.
Emily completed both her Master of Occupational Therapy as well as her Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Health at the University of British Columbia.
Emily has clinical experience working in community based private practice, long term care, acute care, and mental health. She continues to further develop her clinical skills through educational courses on chronic pain management, cognitive behavioural therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time in nature, biking, and playing the piano.
Dr.TCM Yang graduated from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, dual trained in western and eastern medicine and worked in both in-patient and out-patient departments in a large AAA-grade hospital in China.
Since arriving to Vancouver she has become one of the first 68 registered acupuncturist in 1999 and one of the first 231 Doctor of Traditional Medicine in 2003 in BC. She has worked in both hospital and clinic setting with over 40 years of combined clinical experience, while practicing out of the Metrotown location for the last 15 years. Her holistic approach includes a detailed examination followed with a tailored treatment program consisting of acupuncture, cupping, exercise, dietary counselling and herbal prescription. Jenny completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Manitoba.
Jenny has experience in acute and long-term care settings, inpatient mental health in acute and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) programs, and advocacy work with the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). She has been working as an OT since 2020 and has experience in private practice with ICBC and long term disability files.
She has completed additional training in brain injury rehabilitation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy for chronic pain rehabilitation.
Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Jenny worked for five years as a community support worker with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Jenny believes in the importance of client centered care, evidence based practice, community, connection, and meeting people where they are at in their recovery.
Outside of work, Jenny is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor and was a competitive baton twirler and coach until moving to Vancouver in 2020. She enjoys any chance to get outside and explore beautiful British Columbia.
Olivia completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Disability Studies at Western University and her Master of Occupational Therapy at Queens University. Olivia has various experiences working closely with individuals across diverse age groups and settings. After graduating in 2021, Olivia moved to BC and worked in the private sector with ICBC, as well as in pediatric and mental health settings.
Olivia prioritizes building safe and trusting therapeutic relationships with her clients to ensure a positive therapy experience. Olivia is driven to empower her clients to be the change agent in their own lives and to support them in achieving their personal goals.
Olivia spends her free time with friends, reading, going to the gym, doing yoga, and exploring all the beauty BC has to offer!
Ben was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta before moving to Vancouver in early 2023. He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology with a major in Adapted Physical Activity from the University of Alberta in 2021.
Following graduation, Ben was working in a musculoskeletal assessment role at a sports medicine clinic and was volunteering regularly at a physiotherapy clinic to gain experience in creating and delivering 1-on-1 rehabilitative exercise programs. Through these experiences, Ben quickly developed a passion for rehabilitation and continues to seek out continuing education courses to strengthen his skillset. Through his professional journey, he has been able to work in adapted gyms, private clinics, and more recently in a long term care setting. Ben is excited to continue learning about a career in rehabilitation and grow as a profession.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys hiking, going for long walks with his dog, and playing a variety of sports, particularly soccer and Spikeball.
